Coordinating all levels of XML-based protocol testing with One Tool

While Web Services and SOA are the big buzz these days, a majority of business applications today are developings using a much more common denominator - XML. A poliferation of various industry XML protocols can be identified that grew from their rich but ridged legacy system protocols. Some are proprietary, some are not. There systems communicate using some messaging transport (e.g. JMS, Tibco) or even the ancient and not guarenteed, but popular flat-file. As their more sexy counterparts, these systems require elaborate testing in all stages of development, QA, performance, and client certification. TestTube provides an easy web-based mechanism for interactively running test sets of messaging and monitoring results. Multiple test sets can be transmitted simultaneously for performance testing scenarios. It also provides a web-service interface for kicking of selected tests via mechanisms such as Ant or Maven during the nightly build-and-test system. This can provide both functional and performance testing metrics reports. Availability will initiate Q3 2006.

Case Study: Flagship for testing FIXML-based Systems

TestTube is providing flagship support for FIXML testing. We understand that many of the clients that stand to profit from using FIXML to communicate with their partners are not interested in retaining IT resources for lengthy, costly systems development and maintenance. By using TestTube development and maintenance can be kept to a minimum, and it now makes thorough regression testing of large sets of data turn-key.
